A Major Success: The 2018 Southeast CMV Safety Research Summit

 

 

The 2018 Southeast CMV Safety Research Summit, hosted in Tuscaloosa, AL, proved to be a major success, with 155 attendees representing 22 states. The Southern Service Center Commercial Motor Vehicle Technical Assistance Center (SSC-TAC) will act as a resource and information center building on the momentum of the Summit, aiming to increase each stakeholder's network of support and communication concerning best practices in aspects of the commercial driver's license (CDL) and commercial motor vehicle (CMV) safety and compliance.

The SSC-TAC website will provide assistance for law enforcement and licensing agencies, along with universities, in the development and/or expansion of partnerships and programs, as well as assisting in the replication of existing programs. Follow their work here.
