Description:

This course covers the fundamentals of roadway design, road building materials, compaction, drainage, and erosion control. Upon completion of the class, students will have a better understanding of the impact of project inspection, materials selection, and importance of proper drainage and compaction on project performance. The class covers both paved and unpaved roads. Participants will have ample opportunity to interact with the instructor as well as others.

Target Audience:

Municipal officials, field workers, and anyone involved in road maintenance and construction projects.
