IMPORTANT INFORMATION

In preparation for the class, it is suggested that you complete the NHI web-based training (WBT) course 135091, Basic Hydraulic Principles Review.  You must create an account, accept the terms, enter profile info (see crazy password rules), add to cart, checkout, submit & confirm.  Then visit the My Training page where you can ‘Launch’ the course; there is an introduction and 3 sections to complete.  This is recommended for anyone who does not have extensive drainage experience.

Additionally there are six videos demonstrating different hydraulic concepts on YouTube (https://www.fhwa.dot.gov/engineering/hydraulics/media.cfm).

Please see course brochure for more information.
