Overview

Course Description

This course is designed to explain the process for developing a detailed engineers estimate for municipal projects. Attention will be given to estimating project components such as:
• Time
• Materials
• Labor
• Equipment

Projects need to be developed from the ground up, and a walking tour of a proposed project will be included.

Target Audience
This course would benefit foreman, directors and anyone involved with project planning.

    Paul Brown, president of Roadtech Inc. a training and consulting company specializing in public works issues.  

    Paul has over 40 years in the road maintenance and pavement preservation industry. Paul comes most recently from MassDOT. He has extensive knowledge of pavement repair techniques and has shared his knowledge across the country by working with Municipal and State agencies as a consultant. He has served on many national committees and peer exchanges to assist the industry to improve methods and techniques.
