Overview
Course Description
The OSHA Outreach 30 Hour Construction Training Program provides training on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of workplace hazards. Classes also provide overview information regarding OSHA, including workers’ rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint.
All OSHA 30 Hour Construction Training is intended to cover an overview of the hazards a worker may encounter on a job site. Training emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention, not OSHA standards.
*All days must be attended to receive this certification.

Target Audience
Workers involved in construction projects, supervisors, and other personnel responsible for construction activities should attend this workshop.

Steve specializes in training that doesn’t bore you to death in English and Spanish!
Steve is a Mechanical Engineer who worked in the field as an Energy Engineer for 3 international companies on design-build projects before becoming a Safety Trainer/Consultant. That work experience brought him to Mexico for one year, Sicily for three weeks, and Albuquerque for seven months. He spent the rest of his time as a Field Engineer working in New England on projects such as power plant and other energy system upgrades at navy bases, college campuses, hospitals and other industrial facilities.
Steve currently lives in central Massachusetts with his beautiful bride and their four children. He considers it an honor and a privilege to facilitate safety training as it is his passion.

Parking Directions: Attendees should enter the main entrance to the campus (off of Carlson Ave, which is off of Dedham Ave). After the empty guard booth, there is a Visitor’s Lot on the left. Please park in the Visitor's Lot.
Walk across the street to the Campus Center and enter the doors and DOWN the stairs. The Oak Hill Room is the first room on the right.
