MassDOT Transportation Innovation Conference Is Seeking Presentation Abstracts

01/06/2020

The annual MassDOT Transportation Innovation Conference provides a forum for innovative transportation systems, management ideas and initiatives. The conference is an important opportunity for transportation practitioners to share knowledge, sponsor peer-to-peer learning and collaborate on issues of mutual interest.

Conference participants will have the opportunity to discuss the advantages and challenges associated with the innovative methods and technologies being presented. In addition, the MassDOT Transportation Innovation Conference will host exhibitors and demonstrations from vendors displaying the latest technologies.

MassDOT encourages transportation practitioners from federal, state, and local transportation agencies, Metropolitan Planning Organizations, transit agencies, academia, and private industry to submit abstracts on a broad range of innovative transportation topics including:  climate change and resiliency, mobility, congestion, mode choice and multi-modal transportation, project delivery and construction techniques, safety, accessibility, and transformational technology and services. We encourage abstract submittals that tie into any of the above topics.

Presentation Abstract Submission Extended Deadline: January 22, 2020

Abstracts should be no longer than 300 words, should clearly convey the material that will be presented and discuss innovation implications. Selected abstracts will be featured in one of the conference’s workgroup podium sessions. Authors of presentation abstracts accepted for the 2020 MassDOT Transportation Innovation Conference will be required to submit their complete presentation prior to the conference.
