This training will provide an in-depth technical review of various Complete Streets infrastructure design elements. Attendees will learn how to select and design improvements based on multi-modal considerations and applicable design guidance. Application of these elements will be demonstrated during a Complete Streets design exercise that will include a site visit (weather permitting) to a local street or intersection that is in need of a Complete Streets makeover. Attendees will return to the classroom and develop a Complete Street design solution. A brief overview of MassDOT’s Complete Streets Funding Program will be provided at the end of the session.

Please wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. Hard hats and safety vests will be provided by Baystate Roads. Each session has a 25 attendee maximum with no walk-ins accepted.
