Overview

The OSHA Outreach Ten Hour Construction Training Program provides training on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of workplace hazards. Classes also provide overview information regarding OSHA, including workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint.

All OSHA 10 Hour Construction Training is intended to cover an overview of the hazards a worker may encounter on a job site. Training emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention, not OSHA standards.

This is a 2 day class. Both days must be attended to receive certification.

Registration 7:30 AM. Class begins at 8:00 AM.

Parking Directions: Attendees should enter the main entrance to the campus (off of Carlson Ave, which is off of Dedham Ave).  After the empty guard booth, there is a Visitor’s Lot on the left. Please park in the Visitor's Lot. 

Walk across the street to the Campus Center and enter the doors and DOWN the stairs.  The Oak Hill Room is the first room on the right.

*This class has been approved for 10 TCHs for Waste Water Treatment Plant Operators, as well as System Inspector (SI) and Soil Evaluator (SE) renewal or activation under the Massachusetts Title 5 program.

    Bill Eyberse recently retired from the Connecticut Department of Transportation after thirty-six years. Bill was a Connecticut licensed mobile crane operator and mobile crane trainer for Connecticut DOT. Also, during his tenure with CONNDOT, he served as an Electrician, Safety Trainer and completed his career as a Supervising Maintenance Planner. 

    Bill has a degree in Fire Science and Administration from Thames Valley State Technical College and a certificate in Occupational Safety and Health from the University of Connecticut.

    Since 1985 Bill has been a part-time instructor for the Eastern Connecticut Fire School in Willimantic, CT, and since 1987, Fire Marshal for the Town of Franklin. Bill has also taught as an adjunct instructor for the Transportation Technology Centers for UCONN and URI. Signal 54 Training is a recognized Public Training Agency for the National Safety Council.
