Invasive Species - Virtual Classroom New

Course Description:

We’ll tackle invasive species of the insect and plant kind.  Learn about spotted lanternfly and other invasive insects you may encounter in the course of your work and how you can identify and report what you find!

Vegetation can impact the roadside right of way.  This presentation will discuss several invasive plants and other types of vegetation commonly found in the roadside right of way.  The management of right of way vegetation in Massachusetts is governed by the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources under 333 CMR 11 - Rights of way management.  A brief overview of 333 CMR 11 will be provided.

 

Target Audience:

Anyone involved with, or manages, landscaping, mowing, tree cutting and debris removal, will benefit from this course.
