Complete Streets 2/22/12
This training will define Complete Streets, communicate the transportation, public health and environmental benefits and discuss implementation strategies. The 2006 MassDOT Highway Project Development and Design Guide established Massachusetts as a national leader in Complete Streets and will serve as a key design resource. Complete Streets can benefit all communities, regardless if they are rural, suburban or urban. By attending this workshop, local leaders, decision makers and consultants will gain a solid framework for delivering Complete Streets locally. After completing this training you will understand how Complete Streets can help your community along with specific tools and next steps you can take to ensure Complete Streets benefit your community Contact dan@baystateroads.org for additional information.
