Pavement Management Boot Camp

Cities/Towns are faced with difficult decisions on how to best maintain their most valuable asset; their roadway network. Tough winters, utility coordination, public perception and political bias make it nearly impossible for decision-makers to step back and look at the big picture when deciding which roadways to prioritize for repairs. This one-day training program has been designed to step participants through the process of developing a pavement management program.

Participants will move step by step through the process of developing a pavement management program, from the different types of pavement management programs to forecasting future roadway conditions, and everything in between. Attendees will participate in hands on workshops which will include rating roadways in the field to help further understand what pavement inspectors are looking for when they are assessing roadway conditions.

Who Should Attend

This program is designed for those municipal staff responsible for maintaining a City/Town roadway network. Public Works Directors, City/Town Engineers, and Highway Superintendents are encouraged to attend.
