EDC Webinar: Locally Administered Federal Aid Projects Stakeholder Partnering

The Federal-aid Highway Program contains many moving parts and pieces: effective communication, coordination and cooperation among all involved parties are essential. For the over 6,000 Local Public Agencies (LPAs) that play such a significant role in the delivery of the program, achieving clarity regarding FHWA requirements for LPA administered projects is critical, and “having a seat at the table” can facilitate that clarity. Stakeholder Partnering offers LPAs an opportunity to join with their state and federal colleagues in navigating the complexities of the Federal-Aid program and successfully delivering projects. This collaboration among representatives at each government level helps ensure the program encompasses the needs of all involved.
