Bucket Truck Operation & Safety

Course Description
This course and assessment training have been designed to comply with the OSHA
1910.67 and 1910.269 standards and the best practices set forth by ANSI A92.22 and A92.24
standards. Competency in these safety standards will allow new operators to understand their
role in creating and maintaining a safe work environment.

The course will cover:

  • Responsibilities
  • Inspection and Maintenance
  • Work-Site Inspection, Safety and Set-Up
  • Safe Operating Procedures
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Fall Equipment
  • Suspension Trauma and Emergency Rescue Procedures

Full Curriculum

Upon completion of a written exam and operator evaluation, participants will be mailed a wallet
card and a certificate of completion valid for 5 years.

Who Should Attend
Anyone who uses a bucket truck in their daily/occasional work can benefit from this workshop. 

Participants must bring their own PPE equipment (Harness, hard hats, proper footwear, high viz vests) and are encouraged to bring their own truck to train on.

A Cranes 101 representative instructs this training.
