Overview

Description:

This one-day workshop will cover the key issues and activities associated with troubleshooting two-cycle chainsaw engine repairs.

This class is designed not for the shop mechanic but for the two-cycle chainsaw operator. However, the shop mechanic may find the class information very useful if they have not attended a trouble-shooting systems workshop before. Participants will be guided through a systematic process that looks at the important workings of the two-cycle engine. The class is instructor lead but is over 60% hands-on. Working in small groups the participants will disassemble a chain saw to discover important trouble-shooting processes.

Who Should Attend:

  • Small Equipment Operators
  • Shop Mechanics
  • Supervisors and Foremen

ALL ATTENDEES SHOULD BRING A CHAINSAW TO CLASS

NOTE: Food is not provided. Please plan accordingly.

Accommodations for Disabilities: UMTC endeavors to provide an inclusive learning environment for all. If you require special services or arrangements to fully participate in this workshop, please contact Mary Ann Donze at least 14 days prior to the event. Such services are provided free of charge.
