Overview

Course Description
Pavement Preservation treatments allow road managers to keep roads in good condition, extending their service life and reducing costly and disruptive repairs and rehabilitation. With shrinking municipal budgets, the need to protect assets and prevent large expenditures is critical. Participants attending this workshop will learn about different preservation treatments used throughout the region, the benefits and limitations of these treatments, the keys to matching treatments to the right roads, and how to work with all stakeholders to implement a successful strategy.  They will also have the opportunity to discuss these topics with a panel of their peers from the area.

Target Audience
This workshop is created for municipal officials involved in the planning and selection of pavement preservation treatments.  Suggested participants include Public Works Directors, Highway Superintendents, and City/Town Engineers.
