ourse Description?Flagging is a very important and demanding job whether it be in a work zone, during utility installation or repair, or during an emergency road hazard situation. This course will provide first aid training as required by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, as well as Flagger Certification which is valid for 2 years.  Contact the Baystate Roads Program for additional information at: admin@umasstransportationcenter.org. ??Who Should Attend?This course is being offered to municipal workers that need to be certified for Flagging in Massachusetts. The First Aid portion of the course must be attended if an existing First Aid Certification is not currently held.

Course Information: 

  • The Flagger Certification requires successful completion of an exam.

Each participant must have a unique email address to access and complete the final exam.

  • **Final exam is taken AFTER you complete the virtual class.**

  • After successful completion of the exam, the instructor will mail the certification cards.

NOTE: it may take up to 60 days for cards to be processed and delivered.
