Session 3: COVID-19 Update/Hot-applied, Pourable, Self-adhesive Rigid Asphalt Binder

Wednesday, April 8, 2020 • 10:00-11:00 AM

Mastic Repair Materials  are prepackaged, aggregate filled polymer modified asphalt material applied at 380F to pavement deficiencies too large to crack seal and too small to repave like longitudinal construction joint failures, sunken bridge deck approaches, cupped or wide transverse joints, settled utility cuts, high manhole risers, alligatored pavement, potholes and more.  The material can be applied from 3/8” to several inches thick providing a permanent highly bonded, waterproof, flexible, voidless, load bearing repair.  The polymer modified binder allows the repair to remain flexible and accommodate pavement movement without cracking or stressing the surrounding pavement.

This session will be co-hosted by Brian Reilly from CRAFCO.
