This presentation will guide participants through efficiently developing an effective stormwater program that meets the requirements of the 6 minimum control measures. Options for collaboration, work sharing within a municipality, asset management, and best practices will be shared. The workshop will feature case studies from successful municipal programs as well as guided peer sharing discussions. An update of MassDEP and MassDOT’s efforts in light of the new requirements will also be shared.
Participants can expect to learn more about the new requirements of the upcoming MS4 permit with a focus on:
• first steps
• illicit discharge detection and elimination
