MassDOT's Process for Soliciting and Selecting Research Projects
MassDOT and the UMass Transportation Center (UMTC) hosted a series of research roundtables to bring state transportation practitioners and academic researchers together to discuss how research and innovations can advance MassDOT’s mission and strategic goals.
Academic researchers, MassDOT and MBTA personnel were invited to share research ideas, interests, and state transportation priorities. The roundtables aim was to help advance ideas for MassDOT’s current solicitation period for research problem statements, which ends on June 5, 2020.
The presentation MassDOT 2021 New Research Project Orientation, given at the Research Roundtable Kick Off meeting, on April 30th, 2020.
