Course Description:
Planning and managing the maintenance of asphalt pavement roads is a critical part of every municipality’s Public Works department.  Understanding the current condition of a road, its distresses (and their causes), how to effectively treat the road, and how to manage the project from start to finish are all crucial to a successful project and program.  This course will move from theoretical discussions and concepts of maintaining asphalt pavement to the application of them through interactive pavement reviews and project planning exercises that will take participants all the way from pavement evaluation to project completion.

Target Audience:
This workshop is created for municipal officials involved in the planning oversight of asphalt pavement roadways.  Suggested participants include Public Works Directors, Highway Superintendents, and City/Town Engineers.
