Overview
The University of Massachusetts Traffic Safety Research Program (UMassSafe), with support from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), will host the fourth Commercial Vehicle Safety Summit - Innovative Best Practices for Law Enforcement, Research & Industry to Prevent Crashes on November 13-14, 2024 in Springfield, Massachusetts. With the goal of promoting best practices across the Eastern Service Center, the Summit will showcase innovative programming from a variety of disciplines to enhance collaboration, improve safety, and prevent crashes involving large trucks and buses.

You are invited!  Representatives from law enforcement, research, freight and technology industries, and regulatory and licensing agencies, within the Eastern Service Center region, and beyond, are invited to attend.

Apply to present at the Summit! We are currently seeking speakers and panelists to present on innovative programming and initiatives at the 2024 Summit. If you are interested in being considered to present at the Summit, please complete this form and an organizer will be in touch with you.

Share your work!  If you are interested in sharing your agency's programming initiatives for display at the Summit, please submit for consideration by completing this form. Best practice displays, content-expert testimonies, posters and exhibitor tables/booths are encouraged.
