Overview
Course Description:
This class is designed to target anyone that operates class 5 (16,000 lb ) and up trucks. Attendees will learn what is required to service a heavy truck, what to look for to prevent untimely breakdowns, and be able to better communicate with the Mechanics to describe or outline issues. We will cover proper record keeping and the importance of keeping records. This is a hands on training session where attendees will service a heavy truck.

Having spent most of his life in, on and around cars, trucks and equipment, David has had the privilege of working with some very knowledgeable tradesmen. Through this experience, David has gained an extensive amount of knowledge covering many different aspects of cars, trucks and equipment.
David has gone from owning his own repair shop to overseeing a 100 + municipal fleet and then on to the position of Highway Superintendent. Currently, he is Head of Operations for the Town of Sudbury where he oversees a diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment, as well as manages the day-to-day operations of the Department.
David lives on a tree farm in Sterling, MA where he finds operating a sawmill to be relaxing and therapeutic.
