Description:
The first step in effectively maintaining your asphalt pavement roads is to understand what you have and build an achievable plan. This includes assessing the current condition of your roads, identifying the distresses (and their causes), establishing your community's priorities, understanding the numerous treatment options available, and much more.  Through an overall review of the many aspects of asphalt pavement basics and maintenance topics, as well as discussion of the latest research, techniques, and resources in the industry today, this course will help you build the baseline knowledge to put your plan together and set you up for success in your pavement maintenance program.

This workshop is created for municipal officials involved in the planning oversight of asphalt pavement roadways.  Suggested participants include Public Works Directors, Highway Superintendents, and City/Town Engineers.
