Course Description:

Flagging is a very important and demanding job whether it be in a work zone, during utility installation or repair, or during an emergency road hazard situation. This course will provide First Aid certification (through the American Red Cross) as required by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, and Flagger Certification. Both certifications are valid for 2 years.

Target Audience:
This course is being offered to municipal workers who need to be certified for Flagging in Massachusetts or who need to gain competent person knowledge.

IMPORTANT: A zoom link will be provided in your registration approval email after you have completed your registration. 

Attention Registration Managers:
• Each participant must have a unique email address associated with their UMTC profile to access the final exam.

• Participants should verify they can login to their UMTC profiles prior to class day.

This class qualifies for Board of Certification of Operators of Drinking Water Supply Facilities CEUs
For the Flagger portion:  DWT-2022-42-COVID19-42 (3 hr.)
For the First Aid portion: DWT-2022-41-COVID19-41 (3 hr.)
