Karen J. Dodge
Manager of Training & Development
Karen has a long history working in the public sector, beginning as a photographer for the State DPW (now MassDOT) in the 1980's. She began her work at the UMTC as a graduate assistant in 1993, while earning her Masters Degree in Regional Planning, and co-authored the first State bicycle manual, Building Better Bicycling. Karen has continued at the Center, first as a long-time Training Coordinator, while earning her MEd. in Instructional Design. Karen oversees Center training activities, while developing training videos, webinars, and other methods to promote a variety of audience learning formats and opportunities, and evaluating training application and effectiveness.
In her spare time, Karen enjoys gardening, cooking, and planning her next adventure.
