Matt Mann
Manager of Research
Matt has over 15 years of regional transportation planning experience. He managed the Regional Transportation Planning Initiative Program for the State of Vermont Agency of Transportation. He developed and implemented annual Work Programs and strategic plans by facilitating the public involvement process with transportation stakeholders through project management, data management, public presentations and workshops, and collaboration. Here at UMTC, Matt works to foster collaboration and communication of research activities between researchers, agencies and organizations. Additional outreach activities include coordination of multidisciplinary and cross state “Research Roundtables” and developing our Research Affiliate Network. He also is working to increase the numbers of women, minority, and disadvantaged youth in the transportation construction field, under the UMTC Workforce Development Project.
