Webinar: Wisconsin Predictive Analytics and Roadway Safety and Enforcement

On December 12th, UMassSafe hosted the second of three webinars on best practices for crash data query tools. The presentation, Wisconsin Predictive Analytics and Roadway Safety and Enforcement, was conducted by Andrea Bill, Program Manager with the Traffic Operations and Safety Laboratory (TOPS) at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She shared information on the various query tools within the WisTransPortal Data Hub, including Community Maps, Traffic and Criminal Software (TraCS) and Mobile Architecture for Communication Handling (MACH), as well as Predictive Analytics These tools are each geared for different audiences and are incredibly versatile in their ability to sort and differentiate types of crash data. For state drivers licensing agencies and law enforcement agencies interested in developing their own crash data query instrument, this webinar is a terrific resource.
